Ryuji Hijikata turned heel joining VM, and has turned into his masked character, Toshizo. After the 6th match, Takaiwa talked about bringing in Nishimura’s arch foe, Riki Choshu to battle him in All Japan. It seems as if this has struck a cord with F4 member, Hiroshi Yamato, who is highly upset at Hijikata joining VM and wants to oppose Toshizo.
6′5″ Masayuki Kono returned to All Japan in what was an unexpected surprise. Kono has retired from MMA and immediately joined with All Japan. He will be heading to Canada on 3/2 and staying until at least mid May.
Famed pro-wrestling analyst Jimmy Suzuki was at the show and called Ryota Hama a super genius, saying that the big man’s grasp on pro-wrestling in four months was very surprising. He also gave good marks to Yamato, Suwama, Kondo, and KAI. Minoru Suzuki also praised KAI’s performance after their title match.
