A big show, and a disappointing attendance. NOAH continued their Global Tag League Tour, with several big match highlights. The war between KENTA and Hirayanagi may have finally come to an end, as KENTA defeated the young punk in a No DQ match. KENTA added insult to injury, by defeating Hirayanagi with “young boy killer move”, the Half Crab Hold.
Kotaro Suzuki looks set to challenge KENTA once again for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title, gaining a strong advantage towards aquiring a shot, by defeating former friend, Ricky Marvin. Suzuki assaulted the knee of Marvin viciously through the match, and the Figure Four Leglock was the decider.
The Global Tag League continued, with the GHC Tag Team Champions going winless once again, as they were soundly defeated by Sasaki and Morishima. The heavyweight pair utilised a Double Impact to defeat Akitoshi Saito.
The main event was Jun Akiyama’s first defence of the GHC Heavyweight Title, as he took care of young superstar, Go Shiozaki, in resounding fashion. The young man who has been on a massive comeback in the past few months was not able to break the generation wall of Akiyama, and ended up walking away without the gold
