–> “CIRCUIT 2009 TRUTH ~G1 TAG LEAGUE~

Look out Team 3D! New Japan's own gaijin force, "Bad Intentions" Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson, stormed through the 2009 G1 Tag League, winning it without a single blemish on their record. They downed the highly tipped Wild Child in the first semi final, after which Apollo 55 scored the upset of the tournament by defeating Nakamura & Yano. But beating the American tandem was too much to ask for Taguchi & Devitt as the revived Magic Killer sunk Devitt. Bad Intentions become top contenders for the IWGP Tag Team Title, held again by the world famous Team 3D, and declared war on the champions after their victory, shouting "New Japan ichiban!".

TAJIRI once again intruded today, appearing after the fifth match and asking why Tanahashi hasn't been answering his provocative letters.

Tanahashi didn't appear but young lion Kazuchika Okada, who also picked a quarrel with TAJIRI during the G1, did, and ran him off. Okada said he was a suitable opponent for TAJIRI. Tanahashi finally responded after pinning Jado in the sixth match, saying if TAJIRI wants a belt so much, to go after the inactive IWGP U-30 Openweight Title.

IGF's Simon Inoki, Josh Barnett, and Montanha Silva were today, another possible sign of what is to come.
